    Most location sites treat the map as an illustration. Here it is an instrument: click anywhere (or drag the pin) and the coordinate panel re-reads that exact spot — decimal, DMS, UTM, MGRS, Plus Code, geohash, all of it.     About the map itself

    Tiles come from OpenStreetMap — the Wikipedia of maps, built by volunteers and refreshed constantly. The map library (Leaflet) and its marker images are served from this site, not a CDN, so the only external request your browser makes is for the map tiles themselves. In dark mode the tiles are inverted client-side for comfortable night use. Fun detour: click any point and see what is on the exact opposite side of the Earth.
